Bookkeeping
Systemised recording, processing and reconciliation of your daily financial activities are vital for business growth and analysis. It’s also incredibly important for organising, locating and sharing records with appropriate parties.
We can manage all aspects of your bookkeeping requirements, including:

Management Accounts
We don’t believe a set of management accounts once per year gives enough insight to inform meaningful strategies and decisions within your business. It would be best if you received detailed reporting on a more regular basis.
We can put together a comprehensive monthly or quarterly briefing that contains your Profit & Loss account, Balance Sheet, Aged Debtors & Creditors, Cashflow Summary and an Executive Summary giving you top-level information. This also includes a fully reconciled set of accounts and breakdown analysis on the performance for that specific period.
We can also add in any further reports required (budget analysis, departmental reporting, etc.) as needed.
Payroll
There’s more to the monthly payroll than making sure your employees get paid on time, although that is a significant part of it.
You also need to let HMRC know exactly how much you are paying every month and notify them of any changes —whether that be an employee leaving the company, joining the company or changing their annual salary. This is to ensure your business remains PAYE compliant with all income tax and national insurance contributions.
We prepare and file your company pay payroll each month with HMRC, providing payslips to your employees for their notification. We will also identify and advise on opportunities to help reduce your PAYE bill.
Use of Office as Registered Office
As the primary address used for routine correspondence from Companies House and HMRC, your company’s registered office receives a lot of important documentation throughout the year.
With this in mind, you may prefer to have these documents — and any other formal legal documentation — sent directly to us, where we can take care of the processing and filing immediately.
All documentation will be emailed to you upon receipt, for your notification, and stored in our archive for safe-keeping.
VAT Returns
As a VAT-registered business, you are required to submit a VAT return to HMRC every quarter. Failure to comply can lead to a 12-month probation period, which can result in substantial penalties.
We make sure the correct purchase VAT has been claimed for each quarter, and we ensure you are on the best scheme to maximise your cashflow before submitting the appropriate documentation to HMRC.
We then handle any subsequent communications with HMRC relating to your VAT return. This includes any queries, enquiries or investigations from HMRC.
Xero Implementation
Xero is a cloud-based accountancy software widely used in the collaboration between businesses and their accountants. It’s also fundamental in the management and facilitation of a wide range of financial activities across to your business.
From setup to subscription billing, we handle everything. We also provide a personal helpline for any queries or support you or your staff may require while using Xero.
